Layout for the film

I was trying to create a layout that shows the over all atmosphere for my film. I spend roughly a week on this piece but it didn't turn out quit the same as I had in mind it was very frustrating. Thanks for people who gave me critiques, I understand where I need to improve now. Hopefully the next one would reach my satisfaction. Feel free to make critiques, thank you~

on my monitor it looks better!

nicely done, really like the mood u created. very rich.
u could play around with the outline opacity to make the background fake out even more. GJ

heyy,

i think like the 'flat' coloured earlier version better. maybe it looks better to me that way instead of the slightly rendered out version here, or maybe the shadow in the curtains can be simplified more

I like the more painterly brush approach for the chairs and table, it gives it a nice texture and it'll most likely contrast with the flat colours of the characters.

I been looking at the Home on the Range art book a lot lately and i found their stuff simular, BG it's nicely textured with shadows painted on to them, yet characters are one tone flat colours, didn't even notice cuz it felt seemless when i watched it.

The mood is really good. I think this mood is set for your film. Just gotta keep tweaking out bugs so it will match your reel. Keep up the good work.
