This lock I had it since year 2000 when I was studying in high school and the last time I used it was in year 2008. After spending 3 years in Beijing, when I held it again I couldn't recall the combination. Somehow magically my hands just reacted to it and unlocked it. I guess it's just like the old saying "you never forget how to ride a bike". In this case would be "you never forget how to unlock your combination lock" and hopefully it apply to my art skills as well :D

After 7 month,finally this day has arrived. The day I putted down the last stroke to the film. I know this is not the best film ever but I did put in lots and lots effort in to it. This is defiantly the best piece of art work I produced in Sheridan,I am very proud of it. In here,I want to thank everyone who ever helped me on this film both physically and mentally, really appreciated, this film couldn't finish with out you all. Too many things had happened to me during these 7 month, once again thank to people who gave me strength when I was weak. I feel ready for the next chapter of my life, thank you all and wish you all the best~

Deadline of the film...

This is the most updated version of my film. This is also the best I can pulled out before the dead line for the student screening. There are still many places have to fix and scenes have to complete. However I am glad this film has finally came together. I am really looking forward to polish this more for the industry day, wish me luck!

Promotional Package~

Got sick today... so I decided to take a day off from the film and worked on designs for the dvd cover and business card. * fixed the spelling mistake on the card. Thanks for Felipe's reminding.

Testing Testing~

This is the another test run from clean up to compositing. As you can see it has many mistakes but I sure learned a lot from this attempt. with this experience now I can finally able to see this film as a whole and understand what to beware of in clean up, scanning, labeling, coloring and compositing. It really helped, I am glad I did it because of it, now I have more confident of what I am doing now. I know this is not a really pleased result to show on the blog but however I still decided to post it out because it's a important mile stone in my film production.

About the film~

This is the most updated of my working process. Few of the scenes were changed therefor the timing is slightly different now. I hope the new editing and refines enhance the film.

This is a quick testing for photoshop clean up actions I got from a friend. It worked out quit well, if there no "accident" this would probably the final look for the whole film~ Thank you James!!!

Rough Animation#2

well, just finished all the rough themes but still, a lot of revision will need to be made with in this week. Hopefully I will have enough time to do all the fixing before Sunday so I can move on to clean up stage by next week as I planed to~!

I was playing around PS when I done for the day, didn't mean to create anything but it end up like this. I quite like it.

Rough Animations~

This week is the mile stone for 50% rough animation done and this is what I have so far, Many themes need to be fixed but so far I just want to get every single theme done and if I have time later on, I would go back and enhance more. Take a look~

Damn~! it's COLD...

Colours~

Locked down!

Final got the characters locked down, but hasn't make up my mind for the colours for them. Have been busy with animating since the semester started hopefully soon would be able to post some line test videos out.

Sleepy...

Slept for 3 hours and life drawing for 6 hours... not a good idea -_-

Reel #4~

This is the 4th editions I came out with... again, I have changed a lot of things, and hopefully this version can get the message across to audience. I have received many wonderful fee back from many people, thank you all. I was taking all the advices very serious and tried to make a film that contents all the ideas and gags. But after all I was confused, I realized that I can't possibly to produce a film that everyone likes. Therefore I decided to make a film that would please me the most and wish the humor within would make you enjoy as well. Once again thanks for all the great ideas and suggestions.
